You know what else makes me feel good? Doing my bit for the environment, and these Credo Bags fit the bill. Made in Canada (Montreal to be specific), these bags use sustainable and ecologically responsible fabrics such as organic cotton, hemp and bamboo. The name comes from their credo:
No more plastic bags.
I especially like their 100 per cent cotton meshed produce bags, meant to replace those disposable plastic numbers hanging in the produce aisle. Isn’t that a good idea?
It’s great for me because I try to avoid using those pesky plastic bags as much as possible, but try buying grapes without using one – I can tell you the cashiers do NOT appreciate it.
There are lots of styles and sizes to choose from. I’ve been carrying the Classic String Market Shopper in my purse. It has quite a bit of stretch to it so it holds a lot more than you’d think. Plus the design makes me feel vaguely French. Not to mention that it made by Petite-Mains – a non-profit organization that promotes the social and professional integration of immigrant woman.
Feel good bags – what’s not to love? Go Canada!
